We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting the Italian entity's operational success. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial reporting and compliance for the Italian entity, operating onsite to maintain fiscal integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger balances. - Perform comprehensive reconciliation and closing of accounts like accounts payable, intercompany transactions, and financial record keeping to resolve discrepancies. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and complete period data uploads from ERP to the consolidation tool.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting processes. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, and experience with general ledger systems and procedures. - Strong data analytics skill set, applying analytical skills to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
