We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting team goals. This role creates impact by accurately recording transactions and reconciling accounts, operating onsite in Italy to ensure robust financial health. Key Responsibilities: - Support comprehensive period-end close procedures, performing sub-ledger cut-offs and recording journal entries to ensure accurate R2R delivery and financial reporting. - Conduct thorough reconciliation and closing of diverse accounts, including AP, AR, and intercompany transactions, maintaining precise financial records to uphold data integrity. - Execute IFRS 16 accounting tasks, processing bank transactions, performing asset accounting, and ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards.
- 3+ years experience in a multinational financial environment, actively contributing to day-to-day accounting operations and period-end close processes. - Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP/IFRS guidelines and general ledger accounting systems for efficient financial processing. - Apply strong data analytics skills to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
