We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring smooth financial operations and contributing to a dynamic and high-performing team. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial reporting and compliance by managing accounts and reconciling balances at Just Eat Takeaway.com's offices in Italy, operating in an onsite work arrangement. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures, recording sub-ledger entries, and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts, including payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly. - Assist in statutory/non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and process bank transactions and asset accounting for precise record-keeping.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, managing daily financial operations and period-end close processes. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and experience with applicable accounting systems and procedures. - Strong data analytics skills to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, contributing to accurate financial records and robust reporting.
