We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, handling recording, reporting, and reconciliation of financial transactions for accuracy. This hands-on role impacts financial accuracy by managing P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, reconciling balances, and performing period-end activities onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support accurate period-end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries for financial reporting. - Reconcile various accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and IFRS 16 accounting, ensuring compliance with global guidelines.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, handling day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with experience in ERP systems and general ledger accounts for efficient financial operations. - Strong data analytics skills, with an awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies effectively.
