We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team, managing daily accounting activities for the Italian entity and ensuring financial accuracy. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial reporting by recording transactions, managing accounts, and performing period-end tasks in the Italian office with an onsite work arrangement. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures, recording sub-ledger journal entries, and reconciling account balances to ensure accurate R2R delivery. - Perform comprehensive reconciliation and closing of various accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies efficiently. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, executing IFRS 16 accounting, and processing bank transactions with diligent reconciliation.
- 3+ years of proven experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of complex financial operations. - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant finance experience; strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines. - Strong data analytics skill set coupled with comprehensive knowledge of front-end/feeder systems and their related data flow for effective problem-solving.
