We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, supporting a dynamic and high-performing finance team. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial accuracy and reporting for the Italian entity, ensuring seamless financial operations onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Streamline period-end close processes by meticulously performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Execute comprehensive reconciliations for AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain precise financial records and integrity. - Prepare statutory and non-statutory financial statements and perform IFRS 16 accounting, ensuring compliance and accurate representation of the company's financial position.
- Possess 3+ years of experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, handling general ledger and financial reporting responsibilities. - Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with a strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS guidelines for accurate financial transaction processing. - Apply strong analytical skills to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in financial data, ensuring data integrity and informed decision-making.
