We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, supporting a dynamic and high-performing finance team. This role ensures financial accuracy by managing precise transaction recording and reconciliation for the Italian entity, supporting critical period-end activities. Key Responsibilities: - Execute accurate period-end cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances to ensure R2R delivery. - Reconcile and close various accounts including AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, diligently researching and resolving all discrepancies to maintain financial integrity. - Manage critical financial operations like period-end accruals, IFRS 16 accounting, ERP data uploads, and bank reconciliations to support accurate financial statement preparation.
- 3+ years experience in accounting roles within dynamic multinational environments, demonstrating proficiency in complex financial operations and compliance. - Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and general ledger systems for accurate financial reporting. - Apply strong data analytics skills to identify discrepancies and insights, coupled with effective communication in English for international collaboration.
