We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring smooth financial operations across the organization. This hands-on role creates impact by accurately recording transactions and reconciling accounts, operating onsite within the Italian team. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger balances. - Perform reconciliation and closing of accounts like payables, receivables, inventory, and intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate financial record keeping. - Process bank transactions, reconcile bank statements, and manage asset accounting (additions, changes, transfers) to maintain precise financial records.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex accounting operations. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, utilizing strong data analytics skills for financial reporting and discrepancy resolution. - Awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, applying knowledge to accounts payable/general ledger systems and financial statement preparation.
