We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team, managing day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity and ensuring financial accuracy. This hands-on role will impact financial reporting and compliance, located within the Just Eat Takeaway.com Italian operations in an onsite capacity. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions, along with managing financial record keeping to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and perform IFRS 16 accounting to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment with a focus on day-to-day accounting activities and financial operations. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, plus experience with general ledger systems for efficient financial management. - Strong data analytics skill set demonstrated by identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
