We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring financial integrity across all departments. This hands-on role ensures accurate financial reporting and reconciliation, impacting our operations in Italy and requiring an onsite presence. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling balances to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including AP, AR, and intercompany transactions, identifying discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and IFRS 16 accounting, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reporting.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within dynamic multinational environments, managing day-to-day financial operations effectively. - Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and general ledger systems, with a strong understanding of data flow across feeder systems. - Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in all accounting reports and reconciliations.
