We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team, managing day-to-day accounting activities and contributing to the financial health of our Italian entity. This hands-on role in Italy (onsite) impacts financial reporting by ensuring accurate transaction records, managing accounts, and supporting period-end processes effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and complete period data uploads from ERP to the consolidation tool for comprehensive financial oversight.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational accounting environment, contributing to financial operations and ensuring compliance with established guidelines. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, applying knowledge to accounts payable and general ledger systems and procedures. - Possess strong data analytics skills, utilizing them to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies and support informed decision-making within accounting processes.
