We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting activities for the Italian entity, integrating seamlessly within a dynamic and high-performing finance team. This role creates significant financial impact by ensuring accurate transaction recording and reporting, specifically for Just Eat Takeaway.com in Italy, working onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording journal entries, and reconciling balances to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts, including AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, leveraging ERP systems to maintain precise financial records. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and manage bank transaction processing to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and general ledger systems. - Possess strong analytical skills to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies and support data-driven decisions.
