We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for our Italian entity, integrating financial operations across various internal teams. This role significantly impacts financial accuracy and reporting, contributing to the Italian team's success through dedicated onsite collaboration in Italy. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. - Perform detailed reconciliation and closing of various accounts like AP/AR and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and IFRS 16 accounting, completing data uploads to the consolidation tool for compliance.
- 3+ years of proven experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, supporting financial operations. - Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word, utilizing GAAP/IFRS guidelines and applicable AP/GL systems for financial tasks. - Strong data analytics skills to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, fostering accurate and reliable financial data.
