We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting activities for the Italian entity, focusing on transactions and financial accounts. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial accuracy at Just Eat Takeaway.com, located in Italy, operating onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording sub-ledger journal entries, and reconciling accounts to ensure R2R delivery. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and complete period data upload from ERP to consolidation tool.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting tasks effectively. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, plus knowledge of applicable general ledger systems. - Strong data analytics skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies, combined with understanding of front-end/external systems and data flow.
