We're hiring an Accountant for day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping across accounts. This hands-on role impacts financial integrity and reporting by reconciling balances and performing period-end activities, located onsite in Italy. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. - Reconcile and close various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Perform IFRS 16 accounting and assist in statutory/non-statutory Financial Statement preparation to ensure compliance and robust financial oversight.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment to handle complex accounting operations efficiently and effectively. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures for financial management. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across financial records.
