Job description

We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for our Italian entity, integrating financial data across various sub-ledgers and the general ledger. This role critically impacts financial accuracy and reporting in Italy by performing period-end activities, reconciliations, and supporting statutory preparations onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts. - Perform detailed reconciliation of accounts like payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate financial record keeping and discrepancy resolution. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and perform IFRS 16 accounting, uploading period data from ERP to consolidation tools efficiently.

- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment with proven financial accounting responsibilities. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and applicable general ledger systems and procedures. - Strong data analytics skill set for identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies, supporting accurate financial reporting outcomes.
