We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions across various teams. This role creates impact by performing essential period-end close processes and reconciliations, operating onsite in Italy to maintain financial integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes, ensuring R2R delivery by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, resolving identified discrepancies efficiently. - Manage asset accounting additions, changes, and transfers, process bank transactions, and perform bank statement reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and ERP data uploads.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational accounting environment, demonstrating proficiency in financial reporting and general ledger management. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with a strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS guidelines for accurate financial statement preparation. - Strong data analytics skill set for identifying and resolving discrepancies, coupled with effective communication for supporting intercompany processes and consolidations.
