We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring smooth financial operations and reporting. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial accuracy by overseeing transactions, managing accounts, and resolving discrepancies, working onsite in Italy. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures, recording journal entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances for accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of accounts including accounts payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and complete period data upload from ERP to consolidation tools, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment with a focus on day-to-day accounting activities and financial operations. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, and experience in applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems. - Strong data analytics skills to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies effectively, contributing to accurate financial reporting.
