We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting overall team performance. This hands-on role creates impact by meticulously recording transactions and reconciling accounts for the Italian entity, primarily onsite in Italy. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances to ensure accuracy. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and complete ERP data uploads to consolidation tools for reporting.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, focusing on accounting principles and financial operations within a complex business structure. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong understanding of ERP and consolidation tools, applying GAAP/IFRS guidelines for financial accuracy. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies effectively, contributing to accurate financial reporting and process improvement.
