We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity and contribute to financial reporting accuracy. This role creates significant impact by ensuring precise financial records and reconciliation for our operations in Italy, working onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording journal entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts. - Perform comprehensive reconciliation and closing of various accounts including payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions to maintain financial integrity. - Manage asset accounting by processing additions, changes, or transfers of assets and executing manual journal entries, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational accounting environment, focusing on financial record management. - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, with experience using ERP systems, consolidation tools, and general ledger platforms. - Strong data analytics skills combined with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines for identifying and resolving discrepancies effectively.
