We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team, managing day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity and ensuring financial accuracy. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial reporting and reconciliation processes within a global marketplace, contributing to the company's financial health in Italy. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling balances to general ledger accounts for accurate financial statements. - Manage reconciliation and closing of various accounts like payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Perform IFRS 16 accounting, process bank transactions, and manage asset accounting to ensure compliance and comprehensive financial record-keeping.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, demonstrating hands-on expertise in financial transactions and reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong data analytics skills to process financial data and identify critical insights effectively. - Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, applying them to manage accounts payable, general ledger systems, and accurate financial record-keeping.
