We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial recording and reporting within a dynamic team. This role creates impact by performing essential financial reconciliations and period-end activities, located in Italy and working onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes, ensuring R2R delivery by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling balances to maintain financial accuracy. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including AP, AR, inventory, intercompany transactions, and financial record keeping to resolve discrepancies efficiently. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and complete period data upload from ERP to the consolidation tool.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities for accurate financial operations. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, and applicable AP/GL systems for financial reporting. - Strong analytical skills to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
