We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, integrating seamlessly within a dynamic and high-performing finance team. This role critically supports financial integrity and reporting across the organization, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance from our Italian office in an onsite capacity. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances for accurate financial statements. - Perform comprehensive reconciliation and closing of various accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Prepare statutory and non-statutory Financial Statements, execute IFRS 16 accounting, and complete period data uploads from ERP to the consolidation tool, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, demonstrating a proven ability to manage complex financial operations and processes effectively. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with practical awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, applying knowledge to accounts payable, general ledger systems, and financial procedures. - Possess strong data analytics skills to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in financial data, ensuring accuracy and contributing to robust financial reporting and decision-making.
