We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, working within a dynamic and high-performing team. This hands-on role ensures accurate financial recording and reporting, impacting operations across Italy in an onsite work arrangement. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording journal entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger balances to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and IFRS 16 accounting, completing period data uploads from ERP to consolidation tools for compliance.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting processes. - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and applicable AP/GL systems for financial operations. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and integrity of accounting data.
