We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team, managing daily accounting activities for the Italian entity and ensuring seamless financial operations. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial reporting accuracy through meticulous record-keeping and reconciliations, working onsite in Italy. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries to ensure accurate R2R delivery and timely financial statements. - Perform reconciliations and closing of various accounts like AP, AR, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, including IFRS 16 accounting and period data uploads from ERP to the consolidation tool for complete reporting.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, focusing on day-to-day accounting activities and financial record-keeping for an entity. - Proven awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of applicable AP/GL systems and data flow from feeder systems. - Strong data analytics skill set, demonstrated in identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies, and performing accurate financial reconciliations.
