We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team managing day-to-day accounting for the Italian entity. This hands-on role creates impact by being responsible for recording/reporting transactions and managing accounts in Italy with an onsite work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger balances to ensure R2R delivery. - Perform reconciliation and closing of accounts like AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial record keeping accuracy. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and complete period data upload from ERP to consolidation tool for accurate reporting.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment with core responsibility in managing accounting operations. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP/IFRS guidelines and applicable AP/GL systems. - Strong data analytics skills applied to identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
