We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, integrating seamlessly within a dynamic and high-performing finance team. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial accuracy and reporting in Italy, operating onsite within our local office. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and manage bank transactions and asset accounting for comprehensive financial oversight.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, focusing on general accounting or financial reporting responsibilities. - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and relevant general ledger systems and procedures. - Strong data analytics skill set combined with effective communication to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently.
