We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial recording and reporting. This hands-on role creates significant financial impact by overseeing critical accounting processes for the Italian entity, working onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes, ensuring timely delivery of R2R by performing cut-off procedures and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts for accurate financial statements. - Perform detailed reconciliation and closing of various accounts, including AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and IFRS 16 accounting, completing period data uploads from ERP to consolidation tools for compliance.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment with core responsibility in daily accounting operations and financial reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with experience in applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and ERP for financial data management. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, contributing to accurate financial record-keeping and reporting.
