We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for the Italian entity, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting cross-functional teams effectively. This hands-on role creates significant financial impact for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance through onsite work. Key Responsibilities: - Manage period-end close, performing cut-off procedures and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts to ensure precise financial reporting. - Reconcile and close accounts (AP, AR, intercompany) and perform period-end accruals, resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. - Support Financial Statement preparation (statutory/non-statutory) and perform IFRS 16 accounting, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reports.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, focusing on daily financial operations and regulatory compliance. - Proficient in MS Excel and Word, knowledgeable in GAAP/IFRS guidelines and general ledger systems to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Strong data analytics skills to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies, demonstrating clear communication for problem-solving.
