We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team, managing day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring operational accuracy. This hands-on role critically impacts financial reporting by recording transactions and reconciling accounts, operating onsite to maintain fiscal integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes, ensuring timely delivery of R2R by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling accounts to the general ledger, impacting financial reporting accuracy. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain ledger integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and perform IFRS 16 accounting, ensuring compliance and accurate financial representation for legal entities.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing general accounting functions and financial reporting cycles. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong data analytics skills and familiarity with ERP systems for data upload and reconciliation processes. - Strong problem-solving abilities demonstrated by identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies in financial records and account reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy.
