We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting period-end processes. This role is crucial for maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making within the Italian market. As an Accountant, you will make an impact by recording and reporting accounting transactions, managing P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, and reconciling balances, working onsite in Italy. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes, performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies efficiently. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, performing IFRS 16 accounting, and processing bank transactions and reconciliations to maintain compliance.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex financial operations. - Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with experience in applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems. - Strong data analytics skill set applied to identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies in financial data and transactions effectively.
