We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for our Italian entity, crucial for financial operations and cross-functional team support. This hands-on role impacts financial accuracy and reporting within our Italian team, actively contributing in an onsite work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling balances to ensure accurate financial reporting outcomes. - Perform reconciliation/closing of AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, leveraging ERP systems to ensure precise financial record keeping and balance integrity. - Assist in statutory/non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and execute IFRS 16 accounting, ensuring full compliance and robust financial oversight outcomes.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, focusing on financial record management and reporting standards. - Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and relevant ERP/GL systems, combined with strong awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines for financial accuracy. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, contributing to accurate financial insights and problem-solving.
