We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring smooth financial operations and reporting within the team. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial accuracy and compliance in Italy, operating from an unspecified location in an onsite work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures and recording sub-ledger journal entries, ensuring accurate R2R delivery and financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts like AP, AR, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain ledger integrity. - Assist in statutory/non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and perform IFRS 16 accounting, completing ERP data uploads for consolidation purposes.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, applying accounting principles to day-to-day financial operations. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with experience in applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and ERP consolidation tools. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting.
