We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting for the Italian entity, ensuring smooth operations and supporting financial accuracy. This hands-on role impacts financial accuracy by recording transactions and reconciling accounts, onsite in Italy, supporting crucial business operations. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures and reconciling sub-ledgers to general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting. - Manage various account reconciliations including payables, receivables, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Perform IFRS 16 accounting, bank transaction processing, asset accounting, and data uploads to consolidation tools, contributing to comprehensive financial oversight.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities and period-end close processes. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines for accurate financial record-keeping and reporting. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and informed decision-making.
