We're hiring an Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, working within a dynamic and high-performing team. This hands-on role impacts financial accuracy by recording transactions, managing accounts, and reconciling balances in Italy, working onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances to ensure R2R delivery. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and process bank transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial operations and reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, applying them to general ledger systems and procedures. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial record-keeping and reporting.
