We're hiring an Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, supporting a dynamic and high-performing team in financial operations. This hands-on role will ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation, significantly impacting our Italian operations, working onsite in Italy. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries to ensure accurate R2R delivery. - Reconcile various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively. - Perform IFRS 16 accounting and manage asset accounting, including additions and transfers, to maintain precise financial records within the ERP system.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment with core responsibility in general accounting or similar financial roles. - Proficient use of MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and applicable GL systems and procedures. - Strong data analytics skill set applied to identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies in financial reporting effectively.
