We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity and be part of a dynamic, high-performing team. This hands-on role significantly impacts financial reporting by recording, managing, and reconciling accounts in Italy, working onsite to ensure accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries, ensuring accurate R2R delivery and financial integrity. - Perform comprehensive reconciliations and closings for accounts like AP/AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, resolving discrepancies to maintain precise financial records. - Assist in preparing statutory and non-statutory financial statements and performing IFRS 16 accounting, completing ERP data uploads for consolidation to ensure compliance.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, demonstrating expertise in managing complex financial operations. - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and related data flow for efficient processing. - Strong data analytics skillset to identify and resolve discrepancies, coupled with a solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS guidelines for compliance.
