We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team responsible for managing daily accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring financial accuracy. This role involves hands-on management of transactions and financial records across teams. This role creates significant impact by maintaining precise financial reporting, reconciling accounts, and supporting crucial period-end processes in Italy, working onsite within the finance department. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes, ensuring R2R delivery by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries for accurate financial statements. - Perform comprehensive reconciliation and closing of various accounts, including AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Assist in preparing statutory and non-statutory Financial Statements, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and manage bank transactions and asset accounting processes within the ERP system.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, focusing on general ledger and financial reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS guidelines, and experience with ERP systems and data flow. - Possess strong data analytics skills to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations.
