We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting overall financial operations within a high-performing team. We’re hiring an Accountant to support financial integrity by overseeing critical accounting transactions and reconciliations in Italy, working onsite to ensure precise financial reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. - Perform detailed reconciliation and closing of accounts including payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Prepare statutory and non-statutory financial statements and perform IFRS 16 accounting, completing data uploads to consolidation tools to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, focusing on comprehensive day-to-day accounting and financial operations. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with experience in applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures for efficient financial data management. - Possess strong data analytics skills and an awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, applying these to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies.
