We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities of the Italian entity. This hands-on role will impact financial accuracy by managing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting period-end closes for our operations in Italy, working onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling them to general ledger accounts, ensuring financial integrity and timely reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including payables, receivables, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. - Assist in the preparation of statutory and non-statutory Financial Statements, including performing IFRS 16 accounting and managing data uploads to the consolidation tool for comprehensive reporting.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, managing financial transactions and period-end close processes. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with good knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and familiarity with applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and ERP tools. - Strong data analytics skills to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
