We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team, managing day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity across various financial processes. This hands-on role will ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation, directly impacting the company's financial health in Italy with onsite work. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes, ensuring accurate delivery of R2R by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling balances to general ledger accounts for timely financial statements. - Perform detailed reconciliation and closing of accounts like AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, utilizing ERP systems to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data integrity. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation and IFRS 16 accounting, completing data uploads from ERP to the consolidation tool for comprehensive financial reporting.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day financial operations and period-end close processes efficiently. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with strong data analytics skills and familiarity with ERP systems for general ledger and accounts payable procedures. - Possess strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies in financial records and account reconciliations.
