We're hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting for the Italian entity, integrating seamlessly with finance teams to maintain precise financial records and reporting. This role critically impacts financial accuracy by overseeing period-end activities and reconciliations, operating from a dynamic environment with an onsite work mode. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end closing by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording sub-ledger journal entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger balances to ensure accurate financial statements. - Perform comprehensive reconciliation and closing of various accounts including AP/AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. - Execute asset accounting (additions/changes), process bank transactions, and manage period data uploads from ERP to the consolidation tool for complete financial oversight.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, applying accounting principles to manage day-to-day financial operations effectively. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with experience using ERP systems, consolidation tools, and applying GAAP/IFRS guidelines for financial reporting. - Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies, coupled with a solid understanding of front-end systems and data flow for robust financial insights.
