We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. This role significantly impacts financial integrity by overseeing transactions and reconciliations in Italy with an onsite work arrangement. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes, ensuring R2R delivery by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries, resulting in accurate financial reporting. - Reconcile and close various accounts like AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy. - Perform IFRS 16 accounting, process bank transactions, reconcile statements, and manage asset accounting, ensuring compliant and up-to-date financial records.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing accounting activities and financial reporting. - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, along with knowledge of GAAP/IFRS guidelines and general ledger systems for accurate financial operations. - Strong data analytics skill set to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, contributing to robust financial integrity.
