We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for the Italian entity, ensuring financial accuracy within a dynamic team. This role creates impact by accurately managing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting period-end activities in Italy, working onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances to ensure accuracy. - Perform reconciliation and closing of accounts like accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies swiftly. - Process bank transactions, perform bank statement reconciliation, and manage asset accounting, including additions, changes, and transfers, for precise financial records.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities for complex entities. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with experience in ERP systems and general ledger accounting procedures and processes. - Strong data analytics skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies, coupled with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines.
