We're hiring an Accountant to join a dynamic and high-performing team, managing day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity and ensuring smooth financial operations. This hands-on role in Italy, working onsite, involves recording and reporting transactions, managing accounts, and reconciling balances to ensure accurate financial statements. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures, recording journal entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, intercompany transactions, and financial record keeping. - Assist in statutory and non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, performing IFRS 16 accounting, and completing period data uploads to consolidation tools.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational accounting environment, managing day-to-day financial operations and reporting. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP and IFRS guidelines and applicable accounting systems/procedures. - Strong analytical skills to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
