We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity as part of a dynamic and high-performing team. This hands-on role will ensure accurate recording and reporting of accounting transactions, managing P&L and Balance Sheet accounts in Italy, contributing to financial stability. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording sub-ledger journal entries, and reconciling balances to the general ledger, ensuring timely financial reporting. - Perform reconciliation and closing of various accounts including accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, maintaining accurate financial records. - Process bank transactions and statements, manage asset accounting (additions, changes, transfers), and perform netting of prepaid expenses, VAT, and inter-company affiliates, optimizing financial operations.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities and period-end close processes. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with working knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and IFRS guidelines. - Strong data analytics skill set, applying awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
