We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity and contribute to a dynamic and high-performing team. This hands-on role impacts financial accuracy by recording transactions and reconciling accounts, working onsite at Just Eat Takeaway.com. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling balances to ensure accurate R2R delivery. - Perform detailed reconciliation and closing of various accounts including AP, AR, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies for financial accuracy. - Assist in the preparation of statutory and non-statutory Financial Statements, perform IFRS 16 accounting, and complete data uploads to the consolidation tool.
- 3+ years of proven experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, handling day-to-day financial operations effectively. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, with knowledge of GAAP/IFRS guidelines and applicable general ledger systems and procedures. - Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies, coupled with good communication in English for international collaboration.
