We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency across teams. This role significantly impacts financial accuracy by recording transactions, reconciling balances at the Italian office, and performing period-end activities onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Support period-end close by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording sub-ledger journal entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial statements. - Perform reconciliation/closing of accounts (AP, AR, inventory, intercompany), resolving discrepancies, and maintaining precise financial records for accurate reporting. - Assist with statutory/non-statutory Financial Statement preparation, execute IFRS 16 accounting, and process bank transactions to ensure compliance and accurate reporting outputs.
- 3+ years experience in accounting within a dynamic multinational environment, managing day-to-day financial operations and period-end close processes efficiently. - Proficient in MS Excel and Word, experienced with accounts payable/general ledger systems and ERP tools for bank transaction processing and data uploads. - Strong data analytics skills to identify/resolve discrepancies, combined with solid GAAP and IFRS understanding, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
