We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring financial accuracy across various functions. This role drives financial integrity by performing period-end activities and reconciliations, impacting operations at the Italian entity in an onsite work arrangement. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure timely completion of period end close processes, performing R2R delivery by executing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers and recording journal entries accurately. - Conduct thorough reconciliation and closing of diverse accounts, including AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany transactions, maintaining precise financial records consistently. - Process daily bank transactions and meticulously perform bank statement reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate cash balances.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years' proven experience in an accounting role within a dynamic multinational corporate environment. - Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, coupled with a strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS guidelines for financial reporting standards. - Apply a strong data analytics skill set to accurately identify, research, and resolve complex discrepancies within financial data and reports.
