We're hiring an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting team functions. This hands-on role ensures financial accuracy by recording transactions, managing accounts, performing reconciliations, and supporting critical period-end tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Support period end close processes by performing cut-off procedures in sub-ledgers, recording entries, and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances, ensuring R2R delivery. - Perform detailed reconciliation and closing of various accounts including payable, receivable, inventory, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain accuracy. - Execute IFRS 16 accounting, complete period data uploads from ERP to consolidation tools, and process bank transactions with statement reconciliations for comprehensive financial reporting.
- 3+ years experience in a dynamic multinational environment, managing general accounting activities and supporting financial operations. - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, with awareness of GAAP and IFRS guidelines, and experience with applicable GL systems and data flow. - Strong analytical skills to identify, research, and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting outcomes.
